Welcome to the registration site for the international “ITI school in Hemophilia” to be held in Malmö, Sweden. The course is offered by the Department of Clinical Sciences, Clinical Coagulation Research Unit, Lund University in cooperation with Skåne University Hospital, Malmö, Sweden and Octapharma.
This international course highligths the latest knowledge, current challenges of ITI treatment and different therapeutic options - in an era of new potential approaches to assure the best care of patients who have developed inhibitors.
Date and Place: 18-19 January 2019 at High Court, Malmö, Sweden
Cost: The course is financed by Octapharma excluding the cost for travel and accomodation for participants from Sweden and Norway (according to compliance rules).
Accomodation: Rooms are booked at the Clarion Collection Hotel Temperance, Malmö, to all participants. Participants from Sweden and Norway will be contacted by Lund University concerning the rooms and payment.
Terms and conditions: Registration is binding. The exchange of participants prior to course start can be made at any time at no extra cost.
Lund University reserves the right to cancel the course in the event there are not enough applicants to fill the seats.
Application criteria: Physicians treating
hemophilia. Participants should have previous ITI experience. Good English skills are required.
NOTE: Manager's approval is a must in order to proceed with the application. The stated manager will receive an email regarding the application.
Selection criteria: The course will be open for all colleagues around the world, but with a focus on the European countries. We aim for a maximum of 3 participants from each country and overall an equal mix of gender. The application should be approved and the background as mentioned above consolidated. Number of seats are limited.
