Nose Work Instructor Training

Train to be a Nose Work instructor! (SNWK certification included)We have added extra focus on scared, stressed and cautious dogs. The training can be paid for in part! Location: Hunduddens Träningscenter, Djurgården - StockholmThere is a great demand for trained Nose Work instructors. By letting the dog use its amazing sense of smell, we create a fun activation that gives the dog mental stimulation, builds the dog's self-confidence and creates a nice cooperation between dog and handler. Nose Work is a great activation for all dogs as well as a fun sport that suits most dogs and owners. All learning in Nose Work takes place by letting the dog use its natural desire to hunt, we reinforce desirable behaviors in the dog. Training objectives: After completing the training, the participant should have good knowledge of: • Nose Work, both as activation and competition• Both theoretically and practically to carry out and maintain their own courses in Nose Work • SNWK's regulations. • The search dog's working methods. • Different learning methods and choice of reward • Course planning and escalation plan regarding Nose Work • Dealing with stressed/scared/aggressive dogs in Nose Work • Have knowledge how a scent test is assessed!, and gained prior knowledge to apply to become a SNWK scent test judge, see snwk website
