About the event
Opening your home to a dog that needs a second chance is something very special. ❤️Regardless of whether your dog comes from a relocation in Sweden or is adopted from abroad, a new chapter begins – a chapter where you can build security, trust and a strong relationship together. "Your dog doesn't have to be perfect. It just needs someone willing to understand it." ❤️It's not always easy to get to know a dog with an unfamiliar or different background. Maybe it is insecure in certain situations, maybe it needs time to land or you just want to give it the best conditions for a safe and harmonious life. What you will gain from the course✔ A stronger relationship and better cooperation with your dog✔ Tools to create security in everyday life✔ Increased understanding of the dog's behaviors and signals✔ More self-confidence in both you and your dog✔ Practical exercises that strengthen trust and communication✔ Knowledge that makes everyday life calmer, easier and more funThis course is not about creating a "perfect dog". It's about helping your dog feel safe and understand how you can build an everyday life together where both thrive. The training is completely adapted to the needs and conditions of each team. Therefore, the exercises can look different – the goal is to give you the tools that suit you. We alternate theory with practical exercises and go through, among other things:• Communication between dog and human• Relationship and cooperation• Everyday obedience and good routines• Solitude training• Dog meetings• Stress and recovery• Resource defense• Mental activation and enrichment• How to find activities that suit your dogWe also try different nose activities - something that the vast majority of dogs love and feel good about. For whom? The course is suitable for those who have adopted or taken over a rehoming dog and want to give it a safe start in its new life. You are also warmly welcome if you have had your dog for a long time but want to strengthen your relationship and create an even better collaboration. Prerequisites: None. All dogs and people are welcome.
