About the event
August, the runners start to take on the 6706 m long course. The time to complete the lap is 1 hour. At 09.00 we start the next lap. 10.00 lap three and you as a participant decide how many laps you want to run. We continue like this until we have 1 runner left. This is the race for tenacious bullheads and those who appreciate distance over speed. Inspired by Big Backyard Ultra in Tennessee USA, we have chosen to take the concept to Obbola, the island with the beautiful and countless trails outside Umeå. Obbola Backyard's setup is simple.
