BPH (Behavior and Personality Description Dog) at Hundudden. Want to know more about your dog's mentality? In May 2012, the Swedish Kennel Club's new official mental description Behavior and personality description dog, BPH, started in several parts of the country. It is designed to suit all dogs, regardless of breed. We are very proud that Hunduddens Träningscenter was selected as the first private dog center to offer BPH tests. (read more about BPH)A BPH description takes about 45 minutes. The description contains eight elements and aims to give a picture of how the dog reacts to and handles different situations. It includes meeting strangers, playing and looking for food, and encountering surprises. If the dog owner wishes, the dog's reaction to shots can also be tested. After you and your dog have walked the course, the describer makes an oral account of the dog's reactions and gives a subjective summary of its personality. We at Hundudden have chosen to spend extra time on the presentation where the dog owner has time to ask questions. However, it is an excellent complement to the breeding work of the breeder who makes sensible use of the information. For the individual dog owner, it can provide valuable information because the better knowledge we have about our own dog's mental characteristics and personality, the easier it is to understand our dog's actions in different situations. What should you think about if your dog has had strong reactions to certain elements? If so, how can you train or help your dog? Or maybe you're just curious about dogs' different ways of reacting? For those of you who are thinking about buying a dog, BPH can give an indication of the mentality of the parent animals of the litter of puppies you are interested in. Each BPH-described dog contributes with a small part to increased knowledge and understanding of the characteristics and characteristics of that particular breed, but also of our dog population's mentality in a larger perspective. VAT.For breed clubs, kennels or groups over 8 participants, a special price can be arranged with a customer. Then the responsible person/company/club is invoiced who then submits all participants' information no later than one month before the BPH event. What do you get when you do BPH at Hundelska on Hunduddens Träningscenter. You get three professional people who are completely committed to you and your dog for about 45 minutes plus an oral summary from the describer. We suggest that you arrive at least 45 minutes before your scheduled preliminary start time. You then get a calm and nice start and have the opportunity to see another dog walk the BPH course before you. In case of bad weather, you can wait indoors in our nice school hall where we offer coffee and cake when you wait for your turn. Immediately after the test, you will receive an oral account of your dog's reactions and a subjective summary of its personality, we spend extra time on just that. You will have the opportunity to ask questions about the BPH test and the dog's different reactions to the steps. You will also receive a written summary to take home with you. If you need further private consultation on specific problems, we will help you book an appointment with one of our skilled and trained instructors/dog behaviorists/psychologists. Hundelska AB is a non-VAT-exempt company therefore charges a slightly higher fee than some clubs. SEK 299 per participant goes directly to the state in VAT payment. We also pay 32.41% in social security contributions on all fees to our officials plus mileage, car toll fee and tax. 200 SEK in pedigree per dog goes directly to the Swedish Kennel Club. For breeders and breed clubs, we can arrange our own BPH for 8-14 dogs per description occasion.
