About the event
This course is aimed at those who want to deepen their knowledge of Restorative yoga, its effect on the brain, body and mind and how we can discover our inner energy reservoir through this beautiful form of yoga. This yoga is an unusually powerful tool in the recovery of our joy, happiness and calmness.
Restorative Yoga has its origins in BKS Iyengar's broad teaching and knowledge. The purpose is deep relaxation and the classes can be likened to a body treatment in a group.
We adjust, re-upholster and adapt the many pillows and aids so that the body can come to deep peace.
Blocks, eye protection, sandbags are often used. chairs, blankets and lie in different body-adapted positions.
It is a much-needed form of yoga that more and more people are finding their way to in our performance-oriented world.
Naprapath Louise Olsson from Naprapathspecialisten gives a lecture on how stress affects the body and brain.
